we love fall!!

hey guys! we sure are enjoying this cooler weather! we love fall especially having the windows open, feeling the nice cool breeze when we are strolling, the smell of cinnamon apples cooking, pretty colors of mums, and so much more that the Lord has blessed us with in this season of the year! well, hatcher is still cruising along furniture and briefly stands without holding on to anything. he seems to have very good balance. he just stands there playing with a toy in his hands sometimes not even realizing he is standing on his own. we had a great morning at church this morning. worshiping the Lord with others who love the Lord is one of my top favorite things to do. i have a favorite elderly couple in our church service who lift their hands to the Lord as they sing and it is such a sweet sight to me...they don't let any barriers of music style or anything else hinder their worship of Jesus Christ. such a good morning! here are some pages of hatcher that i have made recently. hope you enjoy!
hatcher has discovered opening the kitchen cabinets! he loves the tupperware cabinet and climbs in and pulls everything out. here he is in action...
sometimes hatcher will sit and look at books. one day he was quite content to sit in daddy's lap and look at the pages in his picture book. the other day i caught him getting his books off of the book shelf and he picked out the one with fuzzy animals and he opened the pages and was feeling the fur on the page. i thought that is was very cool that he sat down and did it himself since we have been opening the book for him and running his fingers across the fur.
this is what most pictures of hatcher look like these days. i always try to catch him in action, but as soon as he sees the camera, he darts straight towards me trying to get his tiny hands on the camera. oh well, i get some cute up close and personal shots!and finally, here we are yesterday at a friend's birthday party. it was a chilly, windy day but we still had tons of fun playing outside on their slide, swings, and picnic table and inside riding in the dump truck with daddy!thanks for stopping by!

Walking across the den (with a walker)

well, hatcher just keeps on amazing us. on sunday i let him climb up on the walker and he took off and walked all the way across the den with it! then i turned him around and he came back. he is doing so well with walking! he can pull himself up on pretty much anything...he doesn't need anything to grab on to to pull himself up...he can "pull" himself up on a wall. so talented :) here he is cruising around the den having a good ole time...here are the scrapbook pages i made to document this feat :)
we took hatcher down to auburn the last weekend in september and had a great time with the white family and other great friends. hatcher had a great time his first time on the plains!
