Favorite Picture of Elsie & Scrapbook Pages

I just love this picture of my little girl! It totally shows her sweet smile that she flashes us many times a day now and her signature hair-do...sticking straight up! I love it! She had her two month check-up yesterday and she weighed in at 11 pounds and 10 ounces and is now 22 inches long. Hatcher got to jump on the scale also and he weighed in at 28 pounds even. I thought I would also post a couple of recent scrapbook pages that I have done. Here is a double layout I did to show a typical night at home. I love hanging out with my wonderful husband and my two sweet kiddos by the light of the Christmas tree! Have a happy new year!

Hatcher is 2 Years Old

Happy 2nd Birthday Hatcher! Here is a picture from the big day. He requested a "geen dino" birthday cake so I made him a green dino cake complete with light dino meat and dark dino meat (yellow or chocolate cake!) It turned out pretty good! We should have practiced blowing out candles though because Hatcher just sat there staring at them and Ben finally had to blow them out. Haha! He is a funny little guy! We had a great little party with all of Ben's family coming over to our house and we had a great lunch of taco soup and potato soup. Everyone played outside and in the basement after we opened presents and then we all crashed at naptime. A funny little story about the decorations...I decorated the kitchen with streamers, balloons and a birthday banner while Ben and Hatcher were away. When they came back Hatcher saw the decorations and a huge smile came over his face and he said, "Mommy WOW! Thank you Mommy! Thank you Mommy for this (as he pointed to some balloons on the ceiling around the light fixture)" Haha! It definitely made all the work worth it!! He is so sweet! Happy 2nd Birthday Hatcher!!

December at the Weller's House

We have been having a great december so far! The highlight has been going to huntsville last weekend and seeing all of our huntsville friends at a Christmas party and church. We had such a good time catching up with everyone. This week we have been busy. We are officially owners of a minivan (a.k.a. "manly-van" as ben calls it) and we totally love it!! All of the room is amazing and definitely needed with our two kiddos and this van happens to be loaded with every gadget imagineable (which we were not looking for a loaded manly-van but this one just happened to be a really good deal offered to us by the same guy who has been selling my family honda vehicles for 17 years! we couldn't believe we bought our first car from him that long ago.) Anyway, we love our 2006 red Honda Odyssey manly-van!
Other than that we have been working on our Christmas stuff- everything from decorations and letters to curtains. Maybe I can get some pictures up in a future post of our Christmas decorations. They have been gradually coming out since little miss elsie takes up so much of my time. We think she has colic and many evenings are pretty rough with all the crying, but we have hope that she will out grow this!! She is a totally sweet girl throughout the day though and she is giving us tons of sweet smiles like this one!! Here are a few pictures I took of her and Hatcher. I just love Hatcher's sweet smile in these pictures. It is a very hard thing to get a picture of these days! Hatcher is a busy little guy. He is always taking toys and putting them in bags or the cabinets or elsie's swing or whatever he can find to store stuff in. When we were in Huntsville at my parents house I walked by the laundry room one day and saw this in the washer. It really cracked me up!! And if we ever leave elsie for a minute, hatcher does his best to entertain her by bringing her every toy he can find and piling them all up on her! here is how we found her the other day...so funny and sweet! Here is a cute one to end on of each of them. Hatcher riding his truck and Little Miss ElsieMerry Christmas!!
