Family Fun at Tate Farms

I haven't finished the easter pages yet, but i did do these two pages tonight showing our fun at tate farms today. hatcher just loved exploring the whole place, which included climbing on big tires, digging in the dirt, sliding down the slide all by himself for the first time, bouncing in the inflatable (he sat in there and all the big kids jumped around him and bounced him around...he LOVED it!), swinging on a big tire swing with mommy, and riding a cool tricycle merry-go-round. we had a blast with some friends from church and enjoyed the activities and the beautiful warm spring weather!! thanks for stopping by!

happy easter!!

here is a little preview of our easter... we had a pretty good day despite hatcher being sick and us not being able to travel to chattanooga to see family like we had been looking forward to doing all week. we were so sad we missed jaden, andy, jess, grampy, and nanow. we will have to plan a trip to see them soon when hatcher is all better! maybe i'll get a scrapbook page made pretty soon to show more pictures of our cute little egg hunter. he did a great job! he loved holding his basket, getting the egg, and dropping it in his basket. once he found out the eggs opened, he had fun with that too! we are continually thankful that the Lord has blessed us so much including the free gift of salvation through Christ! happy easter!

we are getting ready to celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ's resurrection this Sunday. I love these verses from ephesians 1 when i think about Christ being raised from the dead: "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms..." So cool that the same power is for us who believe too! I hope you all know Christ as your Savior and are rejoicing in this Easter season as well!

hatcher loves bubbles!

Here is hatcher having a blast in the tub eating bubbles. he is now 15 months old and is adding new words to his vocabulary every week. some of his favorites are bubbles, bird, puppy, boo-boo, uh-oh, and no. he understands a lot more than he can say and he signs well to let us know if he is hungry, wants more, or is all done. he gives sweet, closed mouth kisses by just pressing his mouth and nose against my face. he points to his ear to let us know he hears something...lots of time he hears airplanes and then he points to the airplane in the sky as well. he does well with simple commands like putting toys away or eating one more green bean before he gets an animal cracker :) he winks when we ask him to by squeezing both of his eyes shut really tight. when we ask him where his bellybutton is, he proudly lifts up his shirt and pokes his finger in his bellybutton...then he tries to do the same to us...it tickles!! his favorite place to be is outside. he still takes two naps...one about 3 hours in the morning and a short (hour or less) one in the afternoon and he sleeps at night from 7pm to 6-6:30am. he is a happy happy baby and we are having so much fun with him! really, he is just funny! ben and i are always chuckling at something he has just done. hope everything is well with you too!
