the other side :(

Well, I keep putting up these amazingly cute pictures of our little guy, so I figured I better show the other side of having a new baby. When Hatcher is not smiling and laughing or content just hanging out, this is the face we usually get...and I know I'm a little biased, but I think even this is an amazingly cute face...

That face is the one we see almost every time we strap him into his car seat. I think he just doesn't like being confined. But after a little bit, he is usually pretty happy in his seat for a while.

We had a pretty good week here at the Weller household. We were supposed to go out of town this weekend and make a trip to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-grandparents, and Hatcher's newest cousin, but I got sick so we had to cancel. Some family that we were going to visit decided to come visit us since we weren't traveling. We had a blast with Steve, Annette, Dan, Cassie, and little Braylen. Here is Braylen and Hatcher (who was hungry and quite unhappy at the moment.) There is only a year difference between them. Thanks for coming to visit guys! Here is a sweet picture of Hatcher and me taken today (after he was fed and, therefore, much more happy.)
just a cute pic...

Hatcher loves his daddy! Ben can always get Hatcher smiling!

and another one I thought was just too cute. I love his dark eyes and pink cheeks!

Have a great day!

Lots of pictures!

Hey! It has been a while since the last post, so I am including lots of pictures in this post. I know that is what you all love to see! Well, a lot has happened in the last 3 weeks. We went on our first day trip out of town to Chattanooga to take my Nanow out to eat for her 83rd birthday. My mom and I tackled the job of packing the car to keep a newborn fed, clean, warm, and dry for a day. It was a lot of stuff but it was fun! Here's a picture of my Nanow feeding Hatcher.
We had such a good time! One of my favorite memories about Nanow was when I was going on a mission trip and I asked if she would be one of my prayer partners and she told me, "Honey, I have prayed for you everyday of your life." wow, that meant SO much to me and it is great to know that more than likely she prays for Hatcher everyday now too!
We also hosted our Sunday school class at our house for the Super Bowl party. So here is a picture of the cutest guys at the party just hanging out!
It has been a bit warmer the last few days here and I have been loving it! Hatcher and I have gotten to get out of the house and stroll around the neighborhood in the afternoons. He does so well riding around in his stroller!
Hatcher and I are really starting to get into a routine, which is wonderful! He sleeps 2 to 3 hours at a time at night and then I feed and change him and then he goes right back down to sleep. That is very nice! Ben takes the 8pm to midnight shift while I sleep, and then I take over for the night. It works very well and I love the 4 straight hours of sleep! In the mornings Hatcher is so happy after he has eaten! Usually when I change his diaper, we have some fun on the changing table with him "talking" to me and "exercising" by kicking out his cute little legs. I get lots of smiles out of him and even a few sounds that sound like a giggle! He is such a sweetie!

Ben put together Hatcher's jumperoo the other day and we put him in it to see what he thought. (he is a bit young for this so we stayed very close to watch and help him.) We had to put a box and a phone book under his feet so his cute feet could touch and he seemed to like it. Here is a picture of him in it and another picture that I thought he had the cutest face! I love his big beautiful eyes!
Well, this is getting pretty long, so here is one last set of pictures. Hatcher loves it when Ben comes home from work either at lunch time or after work. He always flashes some cute smiles at his daddy who makes crazy noises at him and rough houses with him! These pictures are of us playing after Ben came home from work this past Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear from you!
