happy new year! wow...2008 was a great year. The Lord has continued to bless us and prove so very faithful through easy and hard times! I am so thankful that the Lord blessed us with Hatcher and has given us all that we needed during his first year of life including patience, good sleep in the few hours we got in the beginning, wisdom, every breath that we have taken, gorgeous days to take strolls around our neighborhood, wonderful family to help out and love on hatcher and us, crops (that one is for you ben :) to provide every meal we ate, rain to help those crops :) grow, amazing joy at how He works things out perfectly in our lives especially when it was in ways we would never have chosen for ourselves, did i mention His great faithfulness!, answers to prayer, lessons in love that we could only learn through having a child of our own, and so much more! The Lord is so worthy of our praise!
We did have a great Christmas with both sides of our family. We were glad to get back home and let hatcher sleep in his own bed. When we got home monday night, we put hatcher down in the den and he happily roamed and played with all of his toys and went back and forth from his room to the den, just playing so happily by himself. I think he was glad to be back on his own turf! We have so many pictures from Christmas that it is hard to know where to begin, so i just skipped them all and decided to work on some pictures from going to the park today (or it might be yesterday by the time this post is up.) We had a great time with the hatch walking around and exploring the park. I think he enjoyed his new freedom outside! He also LOVED the toddler slide! We slid him down it over and over and he just squealed with excitement everytime!
We hope everyone has a joy-filled 2009 walking with the Lord day by day! Love you guys!
