Our little guy is 4 months old!! (i will try to refrain from saying how cute he is because it is just blatantly obvious in this picture...) :) I think everytime I post I say how much fun he is...but really, he keeps getting more and more fun! Hearing him laugh is the sweetest thing ever! He is such a precious gift from the Lord! He is getting good at sitting up. If he is sitting where there is something behind his back to support him he can usually sit for a little while before he starts leaning one way or the other. He does try to correct himself when he starts leaning, but sometimes he just goes too far and topples over (we catch him most times!) :) He has also started to notice his little feet and he likes to grab them. He can't quite get them to his mouth yet, but I'm sure in the coming months they will be a favorite chew toy!
His little teeth are making more of an appearance. Here is a picture...
Our Sunday school class had a homemade ice cream social on saturday. it was fun seeing everyone's little ones, and hatcher had a good time watching all the little munchkins from his spot in the snugli. he still loves to ride in it and I get more done around the house with him in the snugli. I'll be sad when he gets too heavy for it. Maybe by then he will be moving around some on his own though.
he has the sweetest smile and the brightest little eyes...
On his 4 month birthday we decided to try to feed him some rice cereal since he has met all the developmental milestones that lead up to feeding him solids. It was quite a fun experience, though it didn't last long. I think he got a little bit in him, but most of it was pushed back out. He did really good for his first feeding from a spoon!
He is still really exercising his arm muscles when he is on his tummy. We walk in his room to get him from his crib and sometimes he just has his head up and is looking around. It is pretty funny!
He has lost most of his dark hair that he was born with, but his new hair is coming in pretty good. I still can't tell if it is brown or blonde. Sometimes it looks lighter than other times. We'll just have to wait and see. He is definitely not as bald as he appears in this picture...
and he LOVES when daddy comes home from work and plays with him...
he just smiles and laughs so much!
BEWARE...naked baby picture below. Just a cute one to end on...
Thanks for stopping by! Have a good one!
